Caroline Whittome Soft Tissue Therapy with regards to COVID-19.
COVID-19 update
Spring 2021
Caroline Whittome Soft Tissue Therapy is delighted to confirm that the clinic will re-open for face to face appointments on Monday 12th April in line with the U.K. Governments COVID-19 Response - Spring 2021.
The clinic will follow the procedures below to keep my clients health and welfare safe.

I will be taking 2 Covid tests a week to ensure I know I am Covid free. I have also had my 1st vaccination.

If you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, please postpone or cancel your appointment. I will be taking your temperature upon arrival and there will also be a consent form to complete regarding your exposure to Covid-19. If you are considered a high-risk client, it may not be possible to massage you at this time but feel free to discuss this with me.

If myself or any member of my household has to self-isolate or contracts Covid-19 then I will reschedule all forthcoming appointments and work with the test and trace team to advise clients I have recently seen. Again this is to ensure the health and safety of my clients which is of paramount importance to me

If you are a first-time client, your initial consultation will take place via telephone or videoconferencing, rather than during your appointment.

You will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of your visit from the time I collect you at your car until you leave.

Please remain in your car or outside and I will collect you at your appointment time.

Upon arrival, you will be required to remove your shoes and place them in the black plastic tray just inside the door. We will both sterilise our hands when I collect you from your car. Please enter the clinic room without touching anything, with your hands, other than the treatment couch. There will be a container in which to put your clothes when you undress.

The treatment room will have been thoroughly disinfected and all linen and face cradles replaced for each client. I will be wearing personal protective equipment which includes a visor, mask, gloves and apron. Do not be concerned about the use of gloves, it will not affect your treatment.

It is also recommended that you register for the NHS Test and Trace app to maintain our safety. My QR code will be clearly displayed in the clinic room for you to scan.

Please note that I am unable to offer toilet facilities to clients at present.

I will continue to follow the Professional Massage Association, Protective Health England and World Health Organisation Infection Control Proced requirements and legislation which have all been set in place to protect you.
